The terms for ordering and using Glidvite invitations, text reminders and printed cards.

Using Glidvite

These terms cover gildvite.com and the invitations, delivery and printing services we provide. By placing an order or using the site you agree to them. You must be at least 18 to order.

Orders and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars on our site and in your order confirmation. After you send an order, we confirm the details and email a secure payment link. Your order is accepted once payment is received. Sales tax is added where required.

Your invitation

Template invitations are delivered by email, usually within minutes of payment. Customized designs are delivered in the business days stated for your plan, with the revisions included in that plan; extra revisions are $10 each. Your invitation link stays active for 3 months (Birthday, Baby, Party) or 6 months (Wedding, Corporate) from delivery.

Your content

You keep ownership of the names, words, photos and music you provide, and you give us permission to use them to make and deliver your invitation. You confirm you have the right to use them and that they are lawful and not offensive. We may refuse or remove content that breaks these rules. Our designs, artwork and software remain ours; your purchase gives you a personal license to use your invitation for your event.

Text messages (Glidvite Event Texts)

Glidvite Event Texts sends RSVP confirmations, event reminders and event changes to guests who opt in on an invitation's RSVP page, and order updates and RSVP alerts to hosts who opt in. Message frequency varies, usually 2 to 5 messages per event. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time and HELP for help, or email hello@gildvite.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or of RSVPing. Full program terms: gildvite.com/sms/.

When you share your invitation from your own phone, those messages are yours: send them only to people you know who expect to hear from you about your event.

Printed and mailed cards

You approve a proof before anything prints, and you are responsible for checking names, dates, spelling and addresses. Cards print within 1 business day of approval and are mailed by USPS First Class, which usually takes 5 to 10 business days; we cannot control postal delays. We mail to US addresses unless we agree otherwise in writing. If a card has an error we made, we reprint and remail it at our cost.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

Template orders can be cancelled for a full refund until the invitation has been delivered to you. Customized orders can be cancelled for a full refund before design work starts, and for a 50% refund before the first draft is delivered. Text messages that have been sent and cards that have gone to print cannot be refunded. If something is not right, email us and we will work to fix it.

Availability

We work to keep invitation pages online at all times during their active period, but occasional maintenance or outages can happen. If your invitation is unavailable for an extended period because of us, we will extend the link or refund the affected part of your order.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect losses, such as event costs or missed attendance.
